Clinic Overview

Forward Performance Sports Physical Therapy’s layout and chosen equipment were designed based on my 12 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with orthopedic and sports related injuries. It is 1,748-square feet of open gym, a private treatment room, and complete with 400-square feet of turf perfect for agility, speed, and weighted sled training.

Functional Training Area

This section of the gym is a multimodal area. It contains a Shuttle TNT with Towers that can be utilized as a modified pilates reformer, leg press, and a jumping/plyometric trainer. There is a moveable accessory tower that houses medicine balls for toss/slams and various equipment for agility and proprioceptive balance training like hurdles, ladders, and dynadiscs. The tower can be then moved and the entirety of the back wall can be used as a medicine ball throw wall for core and power training. We had the wall built with the same materials and thickness as an exterior wall so it can take a beating. And lastly this area houses a brand new Spirit CT800 Treadmill for gait/running analysis and cardiovascular training.

Private Treatment Room

This room is utilized for initial evaluations and features enlarged photos of anatomical structures for patients to better visualize their diagnoses and what is going on in their body. It contains a hydraulic treatment table to assist patients with limited mobility as well as to assist the doctor of physical therapy in positioning patients for spinal/extremity manipulations, dry needling, manual therapy, or IASTM.

“Dr. G has “fixed” me multiple times. Carpal tunnel and problems with my forearm, fixed. Blew out and tore my calf, fixed. My most recent condition was extreme pain in my arm due to a plethora of issues in my cervical spine, Dr. G fixed that too. I thought for sure I’d have to have surgery as other doctors told me but nope. I guess what I’m saying is, if she can’t fix you, you might be screwed. Go see Dr. Gianara”

“Dr G is the best! I had been to many PT’s over the years for a recurring elbow problem and it just never seemed to help and actually made it worse a lot of the time. I was referred to Dr G from a specialist I saw and she listened to my history and looked beyond what every other PT’s had thought was the obvious solution, and it worked! She got me out of pain and taught me ways to keep it from recurring. I highly recommend her.”

“She puts the G in genius. I known G over two years and can attest to her kindness, knowledge, and professionalism. On a personal note, I flared up my back snatching and pain kept me awake at night, hurt carrying kids, and working. In two sessions combining manual therapy and exercises, I am significantly better, am boarding a four hour flight with confidence and know I have someone to help guide me on my journey to a full recovery.”
